This award-winning design was created for a philanthropic couple who wanted a modern and light-filled space to accommodate two concurrent needs: a welcoming place where family and staff could gather, work and eat, and an efficient, semi-professional kitchen to prepare food and store full table service for 50 dinner guests. Materials had to be durable but also warm and inviting, resulting in this palette of stainless steel, cerused white oak and fused white glass counters. Edge profiles from appliances were incorporated into the steel counter design, creating an integral effect.
