Designed to honour artistic heritage of the area, the new Paul Smith flagship shop captures the atmosphere of a shared studio space while celebrating work of local New York artists.
The warehouse-style loft space is light and airy, punctuated with accents of deep colour. Fixtures and fittings nod to SoHo’s artistic history as the area that era-defining American artists of the 1970s and 80s flocked to for its affordable studio space and creative energy. Display racks sit on caster wheels, photographic light boxes appear throughout, and door handles are disguised as paintbrushes cast in bronze.
