For Patagonia Surf’s first outpost on the East Coast, N&R infused this legendary Bowery hangout with the brand’s own surf culture. In typical Patagonia fashion, this shop is about maintaining and showcasing the building’s rich history, most notably its run as CBGB Annex - a record shop, gallery, and event space. The store design evolved as demolition progressed, with each new salvaged discovery changing and informing the final product.
