Located in one of the last remaining prewar courtyard apartment buildings on Park Avenue, this residence harkens back to its original 1929 classic center hall plan. Through thoughtful planning, careful detailing, and restrained material selection, N&R was able to transform the current 2,700 SF apartment into open and inter-connecting spaces that celebrate a rich past, yet accommodates contemporary necessities and lifestyles. N&R’s design opened up the den, kitchen, and breakfast rooms onto the more formal rooms for an easy circulation and entertaining for family and guests. These new and enlarged openings also allowed additional views to Central Park.
