Each pair of legs is formed from a single sheet of 3/16” thick, hot-rolled steel. After the pattern is drawn onto the sheet, the steel is laser cut and folded. The configuration of those cuts and folds give it optimal structural integrity without the use of welds. The two pairs of legs are then joined together using two bolts. As the last component and an integral compression member, the maple top is fastened to the legs placing the table in equilibrium
