Lululemon Opens

Lululemon’s First Ever Men’s Store

Lululemon gets serious about men with the new MNA designed SoHo store. With a palette of stained concrete, charred oak, and oil rubbed rebar this store is a serious departure from the women’s stores that the brand is famous for. The materials are simple and expressive, bridging SoHo urban with west coast modern.

Large monoliths were dropped into the open plan, breaking the sales area into 3 selling zones organized by activity; Sweat, Post Sweat, and No Sweat. Each monolith can tell a product story and allows for flexible display within a fixed zone.

A communal area is located at the rear of the space, central to the fitting room zone. This zone is the hub of the space. It sets up a dialog between Educators and Guests. Relax, recharge, grab a drink, and check out. Watch your alterations or custom product happen in real time at The Joinery.
