43rd Annual RDI International Store Design Awards Gala

On a frigid January night, MNA walked away with three awards for projects in New York City.

The Retail Design Institute’s 43rd International Store Design Awards Gala took place on a cold January evening at the Times Center Stage in New York City. Emceed by Ray Ehscheid and Peter Tolin-Baker, the event recognized the top store designs from 2013. Jeff, Barbara, Min, Greg and I attended, joining over 200 other representatives from global brands, retail designers and industry suppliers.

It was a successful night for MNA. In a surprise twist, Tommy Bahama New York and Patagonia Meatpacking tied for First Place in the Specialty Store Design category. We also received an innovation award for Sustainable Store Design for Patagonia Bowery.

This annual event always provides us with an interesting opportunity to mingle with colleagues and see selected retail projects by our peers. Congratulations to the MNA project teams who were involved in these award–winning New York City projects.
