An event amongst industry peers, the Retail Design Institute Awards Gala and Fundraiser not only celebrates exception design in the retail industry through the International Store Design Awards, but also raises funds for the Institute’s student programs. Together with the teams from Bergdorfs and Shawmut, MNA celebrated our project at Bergdorf Goodman at this year’s gala – co-sponsoring this year’s gala and fundraiser.

The Institute’s annual international store design competition awarded 42 projects representing the work of 32 firms (10 international and 22 North American design consultants) in addition to Innovation awards in 11 categories from artistic expression to technology integration.

MNA was recognized this year, in the RDI Class of 2016 for our work at Bergdorfs and additionally for the project, we received three Innovation Awards – for Fixtures, Finishes and Visual Merchandising. The awards were announced May 24 at the Institute’s 46th Awards Gala & Fundraiser here in New York City.
